Many News on Hilary Duff: Credit goes to Ultumate Hilary and New Addition To HDO
Hi everyone.
Wow! Yesterday was amazing! I saw "Material Girls" with my Mom and it was amazing! Hilary Duff and her sister, Haylie Duff were so great in it, I saw it two times just because I thought it was that good! Anyway, today I have a lot of news of you Hilary-Fans today. I've also decided after every post from now on, that at the end, I will add a "Hilary Corner" Reflection. This is just like, what you think of Hilary Duff, Haylie, or The Duff Sisters; It's just basically like a descusion of what Hilary-Fans like about Hilary. I will be asking people to e-mail me what they think of Hilary Duff soon by writing on message boards, so everyone look out for me! Anyway, I have so much news today! First, lets start off by what I thought of "Material Girls". This is my own personal movie review of Hilary and Haylie's new miovie, Check it out!
Material Girls: The Movie Review By Olivia
Well, I jus thought that the movie was amazing! To me, it showed that Hilary has a different side to her. (It may not have been for other fans, but it had been for me.) Anyways, the movie was hystarical, funny, and entertaining. There were some offensive parts, (If you've watched the movie, you know what I mean.) but, it was really cool. I had a blast watching it, and I think that Hilary Duff is an amazing role model. She certanly is mine, and has been for five years! Anyway, Overall, the movie was just great. I enjoyed every moment of it, and I can't wait until the DVD comes out, because I'm going to buy it!

Chating with The Material Girls: Hilary and Haylie
You may think you know everything about Hilary Duff and her older sister Haylie from things you see on TV or read in the tabloids, but there's a lot more to them than meets the eye. Sure, their new comedy Material Girls probably won't appeal to anyone over the age of 16, but it did give them a chance to work together after doing the Ice Breakers commercial last year.
In the movie, they play wealthy sisters Ava and Tanzie Machetta, the heiresses to a cosmetics fortune who suddenly have to start doing everything for themselves when a scandal causes their business to collapse. It's directed by Martha Coolidge of Valley Girl fame.

Duff: Material Girls' Is Not Based On Anyone
Hilary Duff denies the characters she and her sister play in the new U.S. comedy "Material Girls" are spoofing any real actresses or heiresses. "It's not based on anyone at all whatsoever; it's based on the idea of what girls like this could be, but not actual girls," Duff said.
She was also quick to add the limelight-loving, spoiled rich girls they play bear little resemblance to who she and her sister actually are. "These girls aren't really like us in real life. They are in the fact that they are really close and they are sisters, but they are magnified and they love being in the public and they love attention and so it is kind of poking fun of what everybody thinks some people are like," Duff said.
Duff Sisters: The New Hiltons?
In their new film "Material Girls," Hilary and Haylie Duff play bratty heiresses on a search for a conscience. "They are materialistic, they do live this life where they don't care about too much and don't have very much responsibility," says Hilary about their characters which certainly made the two channel their inner Hiltons. Perhaps taking a jab at Paris and Nicky, Hilary added, "there's a lot of people out there, they don't seem normal either. They just seem like they go about life."
Even director Martha Coolidge admitted "the phenomena of Paris" may have inspired the original writers but for the Duff sisters it was the chance to work together that made them sign on. "It actually felt really normal and it was really easy for us," said Haylie, "We are really close in real life. We felt lucky that we had the opportunity to do it." "Material Girls" opens Friday.

Vanessa : Hilary is such an amazing Actress, Singer, and Designer. She's just so beautiful and really nice! I met her once when I was at her concert on July 29 of last year and she was so great! She is so nothing like the haters say she is! They are just so jealous of her! I love you, Hilary Duff! Forever!
Aly : Well, I've been a fan of Hilary for quite sometime now, and she's such an insperation to me. I respect her with all my heart, and I think she should keep doing what she is doing because she is so great at it! You rock, Hil!
Emily : Hilary Duff is awesome! I love her so much she's my idol and she is really nice! Haters can get a life because I think Hilary Duff is amazing, and I'm sure I can speak for some otehrs! You are an azmazing and wonderful girl, Juicy!

Hey Everybody!
I found the time to update because I really don't have anything to do, but anyway, I have alot of Hilary News thanks to Hilary-Net. Anyway, before I give you all the Hilary-Licous Updates (as I like to call them now), I just wanted to give you some news on how my summer school is going:
Summer School Recap:
Well, today was just the first day, and a lot of my old friends were in my class, which was really awesome, because I haven't got to see any of them during the summer! But anyway, it was really cool to see them all again. In today, we just talked and got to know the teacher a little bit. It was actually fun because of the years, I've changed quite a great deal. You see, I've become more social, and I'm begining to wear makeup all the time, except for bed, lol. I mean, I've worne makeup before, but only on special occasions. But this time, I get to wear it when I go out, when I go to school, and so on. Anyway, overall, summer school was actually okay. We'll see what we have to do tomorrow, though.

Hilary Duff's New KOL Blog Update: Tour Wrap Up :

Hey guys! What's up? I am at the end of my 8 city tour. Canada was lovely. I finished in New Jersey at the Taj Mahal and then Toms River which was a cool energetic show. I love it there. I am now in Northern Carolina at Fort Bragg doing a show for military families.
Tomorrow, I go home to LA for a few days and then to NY to premiere Material Girls with my sister Haylie. It opens on August 18th! I hope that I have time to catch Haylie in Hairspray again while I’m there. It was soooo good. She is acting on Broadway for about 3 more months. Joel is coming to the premiere with his brother. They created the remix of Madonna’s song, Material Girl, for the movie. I can't wait till it opens!
WOW! Anyway, that's all the news for now, so check back either tomorrow or the next day for the latest news on Hilary & Haylie Duff!

Hey Hilary Duff Fans!
I'm sorry once again, I'm late on my updates! Anyway, Summer School doesent sart until August 7th for me, so I will have at least some time to update. Anyway, on Sunday, Hilary Duff was on E! If you didnt catch on what happened, let me give you a little taste. It was really good, by the way:
So, Hilary Duff was on E! on a segment called "Hilary Duff Reveled". This is when she got to tell her fans and other people about her life story, basically. First off, she started telling about her fist hit TV show, "Dadio". She unfortunatly got kicked off and was replaced by someone new. (Name unidentified). Anyway, then she started talking about Lizzie McGuire, and how it all got started. Did You Know? Most of the episodes were based on Hilary's days ! I didnt know that, so I thought I would share that with ya'll. Anyway, then she started talking about her Music; how "Metamorphosis" was released, and how the process went with her making the CD and what-not. She also started talking about her other debut album, "Hilary Duff", which was of course, self-titled. Of course, she talked about the making of the process, and the insperations for the songs and how the titles came about. She also talked about how she wanted to be like her older sister, Haylie. She says about Haylie:
" My sister has inspired me throughout the years, and I know it was kind of stupid to be like your sister, but every girl wants to be, right? Anyway, when my sister was younger, she wanted to be a dancer, and I wanted to be that too. So, after the dancing process, she wanted to be an actress, so I decided to follow in, and noticed that I grew to like acting. Then, my sister wanted to be a singer, and so did I. I then started the music making process, and grew to love that as well as acting. My sister as inspired me to do the things that I am able to do now, and without her, I wouldnt be where I am today. "
Anyway, that's pretty much what Hilary said. I found it really cute and touching, beacuse she started crying after, and that made me realize how much she loved her and how much Haylie loved her. Wow! Hey you guys! I'm so sorry for the lack of updates lately! I've been really busy, and doing lots of stuff with friends and family, so its really hard to update when you have busy schedule! LOL, But now I get to have a break and update you guys on whats happening to Ms. Hilary! There is so much news! Lets break it down one by one:
New Music Video: Play With Fire :
Alrighty, so this entry is coming from Hilary Duff's official blog on RED Blogs/KOL:
I forgot to tell u last time that I shot my new video in Toronto. It is called "Play With Fire." Two great French directors Alex and Martin directed the video. They have mirrors breaking and fire everywhere. I am really happy and excited about how my music is evolving! I am on my way to New Jersey to do a show at the Trump Taj Mahal and Toms River. After that, I have a show in Hershey, PA and in North Carolina for the Military Families. Then I head to NY to do promotions for Material Girls which opens August 18th. I also want to see my sister Haylie in Hairspray on Broadway again. She will be in the show for 3 months. I saw it opening night and it was awesome! Coming up soon, I’ll be going to New Orleans for the anniversary of Katrina. I am going to help people and try to keep the American spirit energized.
